Moderator Craig Whitaker, President, City Club of NY. This event is free and open to the public. Reception to follow. The Bloomberg Administration sees the proposed West Side Stadium as the linchpin of a variety of goals: a Javits Center expansion, a key to attracting the 2012 Olympics, a spur for far West Side development, and a way of bringing professional football back to New York City. Critics claim it's a hugely expensive project for something that will get only minimal long-term use. Is this project a winner for the citizens and taxpayers of New York? At The Graduate Center, The City University of New York, 365 Fifth Avenue, New York (Corner of 34th Street & 5th Avenue). RSVP on the Smith Family Foundation website.
