Doug Bandow, Senior Fellow, Cato Institute. Moderator Elizabeth C. Economy Director of Asia Studies, Council on Foreign Relations. The debate will be held at The Graduate Center, The City University of New York, 365 Fifth Avenue, New York (Corner of 34th Street & 5th Avenue). This should be a terrific event and a great way to show your support for the president.

February 19, 2004, 7pm: Monthly Meeting of the other New York Young Republican Club (yes really, there are two). Women's National Republican Club, 3 West 51st Street (Between 5th and 6th Avenues). Guest Speakers to include one of the famed "Tuskegee Airmen", Col. Clayton Lawrence, official 2004 Convention update, and club election information. Please plan to arrive on time so as not to disturb the speakers. As always meetings are free and open to the public.

February 19, 2004, 7pm: The New York City affiliate of the Shooters' Committee on Political Education, a pro-RKBA organization, meets at Charlie Mom's Restaurant, 1491 1st Avenue (between 77th and 78th Streets). Guests are welcome.

February 23, 2004, 8pm: Robert Peters of Morality in Media will be the guest speaker at the Gertrude and Morrison Parker West Side Republican Club. Location: 208 Amsterdam Avenue, between 69th and 70th Streets. This is the annex to the Lincoln Square Synagogue (the glass doors facing Amsterdam Avenue). No RSVP needed. Free. February 24, 2004, 7pm: John Podhoretz, author of "Bush Country" will be reading and signing books at the Barnes & Noble, on the corner of Broadway and West 82nd Street.
