July 15, 2004 7:00pm: The New York Young Republican Club (the state affiliated one) will feature speaker author and columnist Richard Poe. The World Wide Web was out of control, she said. It needed to be reined in. Hillary neglected to mention at the press conference that she had already been waging a secret war to silence Internet dissidents for the last four years. "Hillary's Secret War" tells the story of a group of rebel journalists on the Web who defied an outlaw White House; endured government repression; exposed unspeakable treason at the pinnacle of power and helped change the course of the 2000 election. Their tale has never before been told. As usual, this meeting starts at 7pm, is free of charge, and open to the public.
